Auto Repair in Tempe

I tried these guys for the first time since Tempe Tuneup sold it. These guys seems just as honest, and I will continue to bring my Honda here.

Hyland Auto provides outstanding service EVERY TIME !! We have used a number of providers from single owner shops to the big franchise guys and Dave and his staff is the best out there ! I highly recommended them for all your vehicle needs.

Every time you leave your vehicle at an auto shop there is that undeniable worry that sits in the back of your brain. That worry that your going to be charged for something that you do not need, or that worry that the job wont be done correctly, or that lower quality parts will be used to improve their profits. As a person that has worked on cars his whole life, I too used to worry. A few years ago, by chance came across Hyland Auto Repair. Dave did not know me. But he treated me like we were brothers. Not only did he fit me in at the last minute, he fixed my truck and did not charge me for some of the services he had completed. I knew at that moment that i had found my " forever " shop. As a fleet maintenance supervisor, I immediately transferred all 18 trucks that i am responsible to care for over to Hyland Auto Repair. And NEVER not once have i been disappointed with their service. And here is the icing on the cake... I have never had to bring a truck back for warranty work. So if you wish you had and uncle that owned an auto repair shop, you do. Take your car or truck over to your "Uncle Dave". I guarantee you will feel like family after your first visit. Dave, Sarah, Jay, Dalton, and the rest of the crew over at Hyland will change your life. You will never have to worry about being taken advantage of ever again. If you take your vehicle somewhere else...good luck, you will need it.

Hyland Automotive helped me uncover serious problems that my previous repair shop caused to my vehicle. Instead of doing the work themselves and getting a big pay day, they told me of the issue and advised that I go to the previous shop to have them do it for free. That, to me, shows an enormous amount of integrity. They earned a customer for life.

This is my newest and 3rd review from most recent experience on September 3, 2019, with Hyland Auto: in a snapshot: WOW!!! Amazing! Car EXPERTS! FAST service! Oil change in and out in record speed! Owner personally talks with you and show you the items on your car that might need repair or replacement sometime in the future. This place ROCKS! Below is my review from last year and here is updated info from last month 2018! I was in a car wreck and a speeding motorcycle ran into my car while I was waiting at a corner to turn. Photos show before and after repairs. I called Hylands on their cell phone and they came to the scene of the accident, ready to take charge to fix the car and called an Uber to take me home. They started the next day with the car repair and orchestrated all the repairs with the body work and engine and tires and other technical stuff I don't understand. They personally handled the communication with the insurance company and adjuster and other vendors and fixed the car to look like new! You can trust the owners with whatever car issue you have... this place is above and beyond an ordinary car repair joint... these are the real pros. TRUST THEM!!! CALL THEM!!! Last year's 2017 post: Dave Hyland has been my mechanic for several years and he's amazing and his whole family. He knows how to research and stay in tune with what's happening with your car. He has saved me a lot of money just by properly diagnosing problems and never charged me for those services, just the actual work he does. He has saved me hundreds and hundreds of dollars and I believe he'll do the same for you! Trust this family owned business. Dave has a passion for mechanics and knows what a fine-tuned engine should be cuz he's also a racer and been in the business a LONGGGG time before opening this shop.

Quite literally the best car experience I've had in my life. I encountered three of the most pleasant people in the car repair industry in Arizona, hands down. I've finally found a reliable place for car repairs!

I originally came to the shop a bit distraught from being told multiple things from a few other shops, Dave immediately offered help and guidance, explaining every step of the way. All of the staff was welcoming, and it was nice to see the family pups there to welcome all the guests! Thank you to Hyland for making my day much better than expected!
